But what exactly does it mean for our coffee to be carbon negative? The concept is elegantly simple: for every pound of coffee sold, we offset its carbon footprint by donating a portion of proceeds to reforestation efforts in Ecuador’s Mindo cloud forest. Through these efforts, we not only mitigate the carbon emissions associated with our coffee production but also contribute to removing 54 pounds of CO2 from the atmosphere for every pound of coffee sold.
