In 2012, founder Mike Brown created the formula and roasting process for Death Wish Coffee. He wanted a strong, bold, and smooth cup, made with high-quality ingredients. We love what we do because we live to rebel against blah beans.

How strong is this coffee? We use a blend of Arabica and Robusta beans that are carefully roasted to deliver a bold, yet smooth cup with an extra kick of caffeine. What brewing ratio should I use? We typically recommend using 2.5 Tbsps. of coffee for each 6oz of water. Feel free to use your usual brew method though and adjust from there! If brewing a full pot, we recommend a 1:10 coffee-to-water ratio. Are there any allergens? Our coffees are free of any nut or gluten allergens and are produced in facilities that have no possibility of cross-contamination with these allergens.

Our Core Roast, Single Serve Cups come in Dark Roast, Medium Roast, and Espresso Roast. The Dark Roast has subtle undertones of dark chocolate and black cherry. The Medium Roast has subtle undertones of stone fruit and caramel. The Espresso Roast has subtle undertones of caramelized sugar. All the single-serve cups are made with a blend of Arabica and Robusta beans.

We also offer Naturally Flavored, Single Serve Cups in Vanilla, Chocolate Hazelnut, and Blue and Buried flavors. The Vanilla flavor has warm, rich vanilla rounded out by notes of smooth, yet bold coffee. The Chocolate Hazelnut flavor has toasted hazelnut and rich fudge blend with a smooth coffee profile. The Blue and Buried flavor has homemade blueberry jam, luscious vanilla, and sweet Vietnamese cinnamon. All made with Fair Trade arabica and robusta beans.

Our Single-Serve Espresso Roast Coffee Pods are designed for a quick morning routine. Made with premium coffee beans, these dark roast pods have notes of caramelized sugar, cocoa, and cherries, and are double the strength of your average cup of coffee. Our rigid single-use Death Cup capsule design is compatible with most single-serve coffee machines.
